Yes...No...Yes...No...

Communication is often assumed but rarely achieved. As the saying goes, nothing is so simple that it cannot be misunderstood. That may be why some construction problems begin not with bad work, but with one innocent question and two very different interpretations. Somewhere between the question and the answer, clarity turned on its blinker and headed the wrong direction.

Poor Communication Skills

 

It doesn't matter how smart you are if you don't communicate well.  This also includes simply being accessible and responsive to clients and co-workers.

This guy at his next job interview: 

        HR:  I see you majored in communication. 

 
        This guy: No, miscommunication.  

        HR:  But it says on your resume, "Communication".  

        This guy:  See?
